Allen-we'en and Other things ...

L'American life !

An American way of life ! Celebrate Halloween with Allen Family, carve pumkins, then make the pumpkin pies, take part in a knitting group, go to the handcraft market organised by the Church, eat peanut-butter ice cream and then cuddle another peanut...

We are installed, like weeds, at Chris' Uncle and Aunt's house, in Ashland, Oregon. We are there more than well: view on the lake, jacuzzi, food all you can eat and festive spirit ! They shouldn't have invited us...

Bip Bip is not at the top of his shape and he is waiting for more organ donations and it is taking a lot of time !

Western USA - we found Bip Bip country!

  • On a dépassé 2800 mètres d'altitude
From the 11th of October:
  • a Coyote sniffed around around Bip Bip - leaving an organic calling card
  • Bip Bip helps Fanny reach for the sky and catch a moon
  • An American guy thought I was scottish (everybody knows that I have a scottish accent when I speak English...)
  • The average of discussion per day about Bip has been multiplied by 10
  • We have celebrated one month anniversary on the road
  • Bip Bip has broken his leg (3 times)
  • I understood  that in Utah when you leave ONE national park you plunge into ANOTHER
  • We had to unpack our down jackets...and our bathing suits in the same week
  • We went past 2800 meters elevation, but sloooooowly

Rolling on the river

On enjoy notre trip !

What's up since the last time? We have crossed Georgia, Alabama, Mississipi and Louisiana.
We went to a Tamalé Festival in a small town called Zwolle in Louisina where a women started to chat with me and when she knew that I was french, hastened to tell it to the organizer, who of course mentioned us in his speach. We didn't go unnoticed. We had to stand up and wave to everyone. At least we met a cajun who speak french!
Otherwise, we have been stopped by the police in Texas, where like in the movies it was 'hands up!'...
